Supporting the communities in which we work, live and play is at the core of what we do at Coulee Ridge.
As individuals, some of our best memories and friendships have come from volunteering or by participating in the community. So, in 2022 we once again partnered with Wild 94.5 to bring you the Community Builder, where we selected three local non-profits to raise funds for their important cause. Our 2022 Community Builders were KidSport, Elm Street School and HALO Air Ambulance, and we were thrilled to match donations from community members.
Together, we donated over $10,000 to Medicine Hat non-profits in 2022.
“We all have a part to play in our communities,” says Coulee Ridge ambassador Aliesha Kurpjuweit”. As part of our Community Builder initiative, we’ve been able to witness some incredible impact. This year, we saw a need to be filled in the community for schools and outdoor activities for kids. We were able to raise $7,000 between Elm Street School and KidsSport and have witnessed the generosity of our community come to fruition.”
As part of the Community Builder initiative, we worked to raise funds for KidSport at the Southeast Alberta Home and Leisure Show, next we supported the Elm Street School Parents Association in fundraising to help convert an old on-site playground into an interactive resource for students and teacher. Coulee Ridge then was on board to help earn donations to a cause very close to our hearts, HALO Air Ambulance at our fall block party during the Parade of Homes.
None of this would have been possible without the generosity of Medicine Hatters. We are working hard and planning to be building and supporting our community for many years to come. We’re proud to share our 2023 Community Builders:
Stay tuned to see our plans to support these great community supports throughout the year!
