It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since we welcomed our first residents into Coulee Ridge. We’re thrilled to share our latest progress with you as we work to build the best community in Medicine Hat.

Coulee Ridge outline plan approved

We submitted the Coulee Ridge Outline Plan and Land Use Application to the City of Medicine Hat in March 2022, held public engagement sessions throughout May and made revisions to the plan based on your feedback throughout the summer. Last week Council approved our application, allowing us to move ahead on the remainder of Coulee Ridge. Now that we’re able to move forward, we’ve submitted the Phase 2 subdivision to the City for review and we’ve also begun amenity construction and landscaping. Junegrass Pond and future amenities

Our team has been working to create amenities that all of our residents will enjoy. We’ve completed grading and the inlet and outlet construction on Junegrass Pond, which has been expanded from the original concepts and we’ve enhanced the future amenities around the pond to take advantage of this beautiful water feature. Landscaping for Junegrass Pond has commenced this fall and is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2023. We’ll be working with the City to create more amenities in future phases, including potential sport courts, playgrounds, water features, continued pathway connections, and fitness stations, pending city approval. Our goal is to accelerate the construction of amenities with the city so we can provide family friendly options for everyone. Learn more about our amenities here.
