A community is more than just neighbourhoods and homes, it’s where families grow, friendships are nurtured, memories are made and a sense of belonging takes root. Communities are about people.

We’re committed to building a strong community in Medicine Hat, through the development of Coulee Ridge and by supporting local causes and community groups. In 2021, we partnered with Chat 94.5 for the Community Builder contest, where each month we selected one local non-profit to celebrate their contributions to the community through video interviews and a $1,000 donation.

“It was really special to talk with all the Medicine Hatters who are committed to making a difference in our community, “says Coulee Ridge ambassador Aliesha Kurpjuweit. “I’m so proud we were able to support such important causes with the Community Builder” The $13,000 in donations went to a variety of causes, including the new Mustard Seed Community Centre in Medicine Hat, the Halo Air Ambulance helicopter and our favourite community dog, Mulder, with Paws for Strength.
